Job Overview
The Morning Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of assigned Club sites during morning programming hours. This position ensures high-quality youth development activities, compliance with safety standards, and support for Youth Development Assistants (YDAs). The Morning Program Coordinator provides leadership, guidance, and site management to ensure Club members have a positive and safe experience before the school day begins.
Key Responsibilities Program Oversight- Manage and oversee daily operations of assigned morning program sites.
- Ensure activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with Boys & Girls Clubs standards.
- Monitor program delivery to maintain consistency across multiple sites.
- Supervise, coach, and support Youth Development Assistants (YDAs) assigned to morning sites.
- Provide on-site coverage, scheduling, and substitute support when needed.
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff concerns, attendance, or scheduling issues.
- Ensure safety, health, and emergency protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and program records.
- Support compliance with licensing, grant, and Club policies.
- Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and school staff.
- Communicate effectively regarding program expectations and updates.
- Represent the Boys & Girls Clubs in a professional and positive manner at all times.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with youth in an educational, recreational, or after school setting.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to changing needs.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting as required by BGCNCIL and state regulations.
