Position Summary

The HR Coordinator (Benefits & Compliance) supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department with a primary focus on benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and HRIS management. This role ensures accurate employee data management within ADP Workforce Now
, assists with payroll coordination, and helps maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities Benefits Administration
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits-related questions
  • Coordinate with benefits providers and support open enrollment processes
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure timely updates in HRIS
  • OSHA Compliance
Compliance & HR Administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain and audit employee records (I-9s, personnel files, certifications)
  • Assist with internal audits and compliance reporting
  • Support implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures
HRIS & Payroll Support
  • Maintain and update employee data within ADP Workforce Now
  • Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping and data verification
  • Generate HR reports and support data analysis as needed
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and support system improvements
Onboarding & Employee Support
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Prepare new hire documentation and ensure completion of required forms
  • Provide HR support to employees and respond to general inquiries
  • Assist with training coordination and employee communications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR experience, with exposure to benefits and compliance
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multi-site or federal contracting environments
  • Familiarity with audits, reporting requirements, and compliance tracking
  • Prior experience supporting payroll processes
  • Full-time position (typically Monday–Friday)
  • Office or hybrid environment depending on company needs
  • Occasional support outside standard hours during payroll cycles or audits
