Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage maintenance operations at a dynamic manufacturing facility for our client in Batavia, IL. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

• Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities for production equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Manage budgets for parts, tools, and vendor services.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (OSHA, EHS, GMP).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align maintenance with business goals.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, including PLC systems; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Competitive salary based on experience. (Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000)
