Overview
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Job Type: Full-Time. Pay Rate: $26.00–$32.00/hr start Date: ASAP.
Job Summary:
Set up and operate HAAS CNC machines using Master Cam to produce precision parts. Interpret engineering drawings, inspect parts, and assist with basic machine troubleshooting. Supports general shop operations including manual machining and secondary tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering prints; identify and communicate issues
- Program jobs using Master Cam CAD
- Set up and operate HAAS CNC machines
- Change tools, recognize wear, and troubleshoot minor CNC issues
- Build fixtures, optimize tool paths, and perform manual machining
- Conduct part inspections using calipers and gauges
- Perform secondary operations (deburring, drilling, tapping)
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment and general shop work
- HAAS CNC machines
- Master Cam CAD software
- Calipers, pin gauges, measuring tools
- Basic shop tools (drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years CNC machine setup/operation
- 1+ year programming in Master Cam or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math (decimal/metric)
- Must lift up to 40 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be fluent in English (reading/writing)
- This is an E-Verify position
