J.C. Schultz Enterprises, Inc./dba Flag Source is a customer‑driven, technology‑focused company located in Batavia, Illinois.
Flag Source manufactures U.S., state, military, international and custom flags, banners, table throws, and trade‑show items.
We are looking for associates to join our warehouse production team. These positions ensure that all materials meet quality standards and are handled with care. Team members work closely with other associates to reach daily production targets and deadlines. Attention to detail and consistency are critical, as the flags we produce represent our brand. We operate a three‑shift schedule Monday through Saturday, offering day, afternoon/evening, and overnight shifts.
Aboutthe Roles
There are several opportunities in the warehouse production area.
Positions that may be available in our warehouse- Folder
: manually fold nylon and polyester fabric flags according to provided guidelines - Hemmer
: hem flags, pole sleeves, and fringe using industrial sewing machines; trim flags - Joiner
: assemble material to produce or finish products from raw material; operate industrial sewing machines - Applique
: cut and stick stars to material and stitch them on a sewing machine - Automatics
: run the automatic joining machines and troubleshoot machine issues - Material Slitter
: slit fabric to correct measurements on a slitter machine - QC
: inspect custom and stock fabric products—measure dimensions and examine color, defects, ink marks or other imperfections - Shipping Associate
: bag flags, pick orders, pack orders, and prepare them for shipment
Flag Source will train associates in various production roles. All associates are expected to meet efficiency standards, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to safety protocols. Attendance is critical. Associates take direction from Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and Leads and collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for some positions
- Previous experience in a production environment
- Previous experience sewing on an industrial sewing machine (highly desired)
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
