Role Overview:

Join Amcor as an Extrusion Operator where you will lead all Extrusion lines (Blown Film or Coater lines) including changeovers, machine start‑up, running and shutdown.
ScheduleShift: 12‑hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) on a 4‑3 rotation.

- Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, and standard operating procedures.
- Organize, record, and ensure proper storage of resin.
- Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each job.
- Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely.
- Work with and direct the extrusion assistant and other teammates to minimize job change‑over and downtime.
- Train and direct the extrusion assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
- Know and understand the product safety role.
- Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (cross‑training, moving to the work).
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs.
- Willing and able to stand and walk for a 12‑hour shift.
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
- Frequent use of wrist and hands.
- Frequent stepping up and down from platforms.
