POSITION

PURPOSE:

To fabricate and assemble steel components according to production specifications and quality standards. This role involves performing a variety of welding processes-including manual welding, layout welding, orbital welding, and tack welding

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.

• Execute layout welding without the use of templates, using blueprints, measuring tools, and layout marks to determine accurate fit-up.

• Interpret and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences and joint designs.

• Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.

• Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and tolerances.

• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
