We are seeking Machine Operators for Engine Lathe Operations and at our Batavia location, with opportunities available on 2nd shifts M–Th 2pm–Midnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathes and associated equipment to achieve production goals in line with set specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and promptly notify supervisors of any malfunctions.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by the lead or supervisor.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Strong mechanical knowledge with solid math skills.
• Able to locate, read, and understand prints and drawing of press rolls
• clear understanding of tolerances, common terminology, and critical measures to manufacturing (Run-out, TIR, taper, concentricity, etc.)
• Clear and effective communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
• Dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with coworkers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with manual lathes and shop equipment.
• Proficient with reading blueprints and using measuring/inspection tools.
• Willingness to work on 2nd shift.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
