Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Machine Operator for a large, well-known client in Batavia, IL. As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for operating production equipment at the coating line, troubleshooting when necessary, operating a forklift, and any other duties assigned by management.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($23.25/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include:3rd Shift, 10:00pm-6:30am Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
-Operate equipment at the coating line-Troubleshoot basic technical problems-Perform basic mathematical calculations-Operate a sit-down forklift-Follow technical, verbal and written instructions-Work with others in a group-Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures-Maintain a clean work environment
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
-Previous assembly or production experience preferred-Sit-down forklift experience-Mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail-Ability to read and write in English, as well as understand basic quality stipulations-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long period of time when needed
