Role Overview
Join Amcor as a Press Operator where you will lead all press line operations, including changeovers, start‑up, running, and shut‑down, while prioritizing safety and compliance with specifications.
ScheduleShift: 12‑hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) on a 4‑3 rotation.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay: $27.58/hour

- Lead in all aspects of operation of press lines including changeovers, machine start‑up, running and shut‑down.
- Support operations in becoming world‑class in all aspects of the business, beginning with safety.
- Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely. This includes, but is not limited to, production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets (all flags are recorded), S.O.C sheets and all others as assigned.
- Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change‑over and downtime.
- Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
- Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (cross‑training, moving to the work).
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50‑60 lbs.
- Willing and able to stand and walk for 8‑12 hour shifts.
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
- Frequent use of wrists and hands.
- Frequent stepping up and down from platforms.
