Electrical Assembler
Location: Batavia, IL
Hire Type: Contract to hire
Salary: $25-$30/hr.

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Electrical Assembler to support the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of complex scientific and industrial equipment. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical assembly experience who enjoys building equipment from schematics, working with wiring and controls, and ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment.
Job Duties- Assemble and wire complex electrical and electro‑mechanical equipment according to schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Install and route wiring, cables, terminals, connectors, and electrical components.
- Perform panel wiring, point‑to‑point wiring, and electrical sub‑assembly work.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of completed assemblies to verify functionality and quality.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly drawings.
- Assist with mechanical assembly as needed to complete final equipment builds.
- Identify and resolve assembly, wiring, and component issues during the build process.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as multimeters.
- 2+ years of electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Experience with panel wiring, point‑to‑point wiring, and cable routing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical assemblies.
- Familiarity with electrical components including relays, switches, sensors, power supplies, and terminal blocks.
