Our Welders play a key role in fabricating and repairing high-quality metal components used in commercial fencing projects. This position involves reading blueprints, cutting and welding steel or aluminum parts, and ensuring all fabricated components meet safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have strong technical welding skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

• Cut, weld, grind, and assemble metal components for fence panels, gates, and structural supports
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, specifications, and symbols
• Prepare and tack parts and materials for final welds
• Vertical, horizontal, uphill, overhead, and out-of-position welding
• Use hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures to set up work pieces
• Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Identify and report any faulty equipment or defective materials to the supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Assist with general yard or fabrication shop duties as needed

• Work Environment and physical demands:
  Work is performed in a fabrication shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role involves exposure to welding fumes, loud noises, hot materials, and moving equipment. Safety protocols and PPE are required at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
