SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Molding Cell Operators for a plastic fabrication company in Batavia, IL. The Molding Cell Operator will manage the entire molding process, including equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $16-$16.75/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts:

• 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities of the Molding Cell Operator:

• Work in a group of three or more employees at one or more machines to make a family of parts.
• Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, down-stream equipment, and material feed equipment.
• Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.
• Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
• Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.

Required Qualifications of the Molding Cell Operator:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
• Previous plastics molding experience a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
