Set-up Technician

Job Title

Set-up and maintain insert folding equipment (Primary folders are GUK-Vijuk / MBO / Pratham). Other machines we run are tabbers, Piggyback insert marrying machine, stitcher and Vijuk serialization printer.

High school diploma or G.E.D is appreciated but not required.

3 to 5 years of related experience with any of the above-mentioned machines is helpful.

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and work instructions.

Attention to detail is a must.

Good organizational skills.

Good mechanical skills.

Able to read, write and speak English is a plus but not necessary.

Oversee multiple machines and address any issues that affect quality or production.

Proper use of rulers in order to ensure correct product sizes.

Must be able to maintain good attendance.

Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job.

Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments.

Ability to maneuver in tight spaces.

Ability to do a lot of bending and reaching.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

This job is physically demanding and requires the job holder to be on their feet, walking/moving/lifting throughout long periods of time.
