Quality Assurance Technician Batavia, IL Payrate 22.00 - 28.00 1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday Overtime as needed Join a fast-paced manufacturing team serving the food service, healthcare, and hygiene industries. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform product testing, inspections, quality audits, failure analysis, and documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality improvement.

Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable attendance are essential.

Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures:

• Perform validation testing on new and existing products.
• Execute mechanical, electrical, thermal, environmental, cycle-life, and performance testing.
• Prepare test samples, fixtures, and laboratory equipment.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct PPAP dimensional evaluations where required.
• Process and investigate returned products and warranty claims to determine root cause, repairability and refurbishment requirements.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, and other laboratory test equipment.
• Operate, maintain, and verify calibration status of laboratory equipment.
• Prepare detailed laboratory test reports and maintain electronic records.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and engineering observations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
