Position SummaryWe're looking for a relationship-driven Inside Sales Representative to join a growing sales team.
Unlike many inside sales positions, this role is centered around warm, inbound opportunities rather than heavy cold calling. You'll work with customers who are already interested in the company's products by responding to inbound inquiries, following up on quotes, managing repeat business, and nurturing existing accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
Success in this role comes from building trust, understanding customer needs, recommending the right solutions, and delivering an outstanding customer experience from the initial inquiry through order completion.

Responsibilities- Manage a steady flow of warm, inbound leads and customer inquiries.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
- Present "good, better, best" product options based on customer goals and budget.
- Follow up on quotes and open opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products.
- Handle objections professionally and guide customers through the buying process.
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after every sale.
- Communicate with customers by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare accurate quotes, shipping estimates, and customer proposals.
- Process customer orders accurately from beginning to completion.
- Maintain customer records and sales opportunities within the company's CRM and ERP systems.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Execute follow-up campaigns on existing opportunities and inactive customers.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products and solutions.
- Stay current on product updates, promotions, and pricing.
- Work closely with customer service, operations, and leadership to provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Share customer feedback and market insights with internal teams.
- Consistently achieve individual sales goals while contributing to overall team success.
- 2+ years of inside sales, B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing sales experience.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close business.
- Experience using CRM or ERP software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience selling to government, education, commercial, or institutional customers.
- Experience working with Net Suite or another ERP/CRM platform.
- Experience with solution-based or consultative sales.
- Bachelor's degree or additional business coursework.
- Base salary: $40,000 to $55,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
- First-year commission earnings typically range from $10,000 to $25,000, depending on experience and performance.
