Fireproofing Laborer - Local

About the Role

American National Insulation, part of the Top Build family, is a leading installer and distributor of energy‑efficient insulation and building material services nationwide. This Journeyman fireproofing position allows you to apply industry expertise within an inclusive, performance‑driven organization.

• Practice best fireproofing practices and train helpers in fireproofing, plaster, sealer, and spray.
• Install products in accordance with collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches to measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating, sealant, foam and materials.
• Review daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment.
• Complete vehicle safety and job‑site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Perform any other duty, task or responsibility as assigned per the CBAs.

Minimum age 18 years. Valid driver’s license required if operating Company vehicle. This is a safety‑sensitive position.

Local; out‑of‑town travel required. Daily travel to job sites.

Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing as needed. Work includes confined spaces and small areas.

$38.71 – $38.71 per hour. Salary based on qualifying factors.
