Electrician Responsibilities
  • Complete the installation of all electrical equipment - replacement, new and upgrades as required.
  • Complete the preventive maintenance and servicing of all assigned electrical equipment.
  • Prioritize work/training assignments as required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair power distribution systems, phased and DC electric motors, electrical power equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical switch-gear equipment.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical lighting systems, AC variable speed drives, uninterruptible power supply systems.
  • Understand and promote current arc-flash requirements.
  • Practical safeguarding of all personnel and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience as a journeyman electrician in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency with servo systems, CNC’s and PLC’s and other industrial controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, logic diagrams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components and industrial components.
  • Proficiency with industrial wiring, installation of conduit, starters, motors (single and multiphase).
  • Knowledge of Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations.
  • Knowledge of feeders, power circuits, limit switches, proximity switches, pressure switches, flow switches, push buttons, solenoids, encoders and lockout/tagout.

First shift, 6 am - 2:30 pm M-F
