ACE Advanced Studies Instructor applicants are teachers currently employed by an ACE partner school district seeking approval to teach a course for GCC credit at the high school as a part of their regular course offerings.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will:

* Have a Master's Degree in the discipline they are seeking to teach or a related Master's Degree with at least 12 credit hours of graduate study in the discipline.

* Have the approval of their school administration to offer the GCC course.

* Submit a syllabus for approval prior to the course being offered for student registration.

Additional Information:

After approval, Advanced Studies Instructors must follow all procedures in the Instructor Handbook and the Memorandum of Understanding.

Application Instructions:

To be considered, applicants must submit the following:

* An official GCC application

* An updated resume (cover letters are helpful, however not required)

* Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended by the applicant (undergraduate, graduate & transfer)

Applicants must specify the exact course they wish to teach (e.g., ENG 101, MAT 129). Approval in one course does not infer approval in other courses in the same discipline.
