ABOUT COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS 102 - INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERS:
This course includes the most recent developments in the computer industry, computer applications, the Internet, and the components of a computer system. Laboratory exercises stress application programs such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning, adaptability, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology. This person will strive to create and maintain personal connections with students and the college community.
They must be a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who contributes to Genesee's supportive community, dedicated to effective innovative strategies for student success. Must demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as the ability to establish and maintain a positive learning environment. Incumbent must be mindful of and develop solutions that can accommodate all individuals to use GCC facilities without barriers, both digitally and physically.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in the subject area or related area is required. Teaching experience in a community college is preferred. Incumbent will be required to instruct online.

List. This is a part-time instructor position teaching asynchronous online. This position pays a rate of $825 per contact or credit hour.
