M-F, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

SUMMARY

Responsible for pick up and deliveries. Responsible for receiving and storage of all delivered supplies. Material Management Only:
Responsible for timely deliveries of pharmacy supplies, bank bags, mail, med-surge supplies, hospital equipment and special non-stock orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains work areas in a safe, sanitary and orderly manner, demonstrating proper equipment use and sanitation techniques
• Obeys all applicable laws and regulations dealing with operation of vehicle and DOT regulations.
• Reports all incidents, damage, accidents immediately to manager or supervisor
• Ensures US Mail is picked up daily and delivered to the mail room for RRH's departments/affiliates.
• Facilitates delivery requests in regards to pharmaceutical supplies and or drugs.
• Handle and delivers medical equipment for clinical technologies to the off sites.
• Manages cash bags and receipts for the Finance departments as well as Off-sites and Living Centers as well as cashing checks and making deposits as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of prior courier/delivery strongly preferred
• Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible.
• Ability to read and comprehend directions.
• Knowledge of all locals roads and major roads and major landmarks in the surrounding area
• Ability to read and write English and communicate effectively

LICENSES /

CERTIFICATIONS:

NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License
- New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M
- Medium Work
- Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects;
Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$17.25 - $19.88
