Job Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Ensure punctuality for all courses.

* Maintain professionalism in all interactions, both inside and outside the classroom.

* Collaborate on the development and revision of the nursing program's philosophy, organizational framework, policies, and procedures as needed.

* Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing curricula.

* Foster an intellectual environment that encourages critical thinking.

* Select and maintain appropriate clinical learning environments, including labs and check-offs.

* Utilize effective evaluation techniques to assess teaching effectiveness and student performance.

* Stay current with trends in nursing education and practice.

* Maintain expertise through ongoing professional development.

* Participate in faculty and committee assignments, including monthly faculty meetings.

* Demonstrate and uphold high standards of professional nursing practice.

* Contribute to recruitment, academic counseling, and program advising.

* Maintain accurate student records.

* Collaborate with faculty as part of a team-based approach to teaching.

* Keep educational equipment and resources up to date.

* Fulfill teaching responsibilities in both online and traditional tracks.

* Complete required clinical hours.

* Ensure student-centered learning in all courses.

* Post weekly coursework and learning materials before the scheduled content week.

* Complete all grading promptly for both theory and practicum courses.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

o applicants currently enrolled in a BSN program will be considered.

* Have an unencumbered Registered Nursing license with privilege to practice in Arkansas

* Have a minimum of two years of clinical healthcare experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Have a Master's of Science in Nursing

* Nurse educator experience

* Higher education experience
