Overview

University Outreach Specialist - ASU (Flexible-Part Time) s fully remote role involves engaging potential students through information sessions about Arkansas State University's online healthcare programs, with travel across Mississippi, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. The position supports Risepoint’s mission to expand access to high-quality, affordable, workforce-relevant education.

• Organize and facilitate accurate and engaging information sessions, webinars, and email campaigns to represent Arkansas State University’s online healthcare degree programs at hospitals, community colleges, staff meetings, and conferences.
• Provide healthcare employees, specifically nurses, with detailed information about online degree programs and assist with follow-up from an enrollment specialist to review the program, answer questions, and outline next steps including the application process.

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a healthcare-related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare industry, sales, or field marketing.
• Experience in nursing, medical sales, or similar roles within a healthcare system is preferred.
• Must reside in Mississippi, Arkansas, or Oklahoma.
• Ability to effectively engage with nurses, healthcare workers, and undergraduate students to discuss the advantages of furthering their education.
• Strong, persuasive, and precise communication skills, along with a compelling presence.
• Professional demeanor, energetic approach, positive attitude, punctuality, and high integrity are essential.
• Remote role focused on managing partnerships with Arkansas State University within the Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma region, with travel up to 75% and minimal overnight stays.
