IT Manager

Oliver Carol Recruitment recently met with the SLT team of this category disruptive CPG manufacturing organization and had the opportunity to learn about its exciting growth plans which include new sites being built and increases in leadership headcount across multiple functions.

In this newly created role the IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all IT related operations across the organisation. They will be the point of contact for all aspects of IT service capabilities, applications and solutions within all departments of this best-in-class manufacturing organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with third party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. This candidate should have prior experience working with information technology and understand the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date.

Responsibilities:

Manage technologies and provide administrative assistance for various systems

Understand various IT troubleshooting and provide technical support

Control and monitor data, network access and backup systems

Negotiate and communicate with third-party software providers for new software's and troubleshooting

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science required or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading teams.

Experience with successful implementation of project management methodology and toolsets.

Experience with databases and database storage systems.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organization skills ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
