Role Description The ERP SAP/Oracle Specialist will lead the development and implementation of SAP PO/PI & API solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the latest ERP technologies, accounting and finance processes, and local financial constraints. The Specialist will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver successful projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Possess in-depth knowledge of the latest SAP/Oracle ERP implementation methodologies and technologies.
- Understand accounting and finance processes, along with local financial constraints.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PO/PI & API solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, developers, and project managers—to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, promoting high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
- Design and develop custom solutions using SAP PO/PI & APIs, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Strong understanding of integration technologies and protocols, such as SOAP, REST, and JSON.
- Experience with SAP systems and modules, including SAP ERP, CRM, and SCM.
- Proficiency in working with databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- At least 5 years of experience with SAP/Oracle ERP finance modules.
- Proficient in AP, GL, AR, Payroll, IFRS rules, project accounting, purchase-to-pay, invoice-to-cash, order-to-cash, and fixed assets.
- Relevant experience as a functional consultant in SAP/Oracle ERP.
- Knowledgeable in various business domains.
- Experience with basic technical areas such as development and configurations.
- Proven track record in SAP/Oracle implementation and support, including handling user queries, providing training, and creating documentation.
- Familiarity with SAP/Oracle implementation methodologies.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance background is must.
- Experience in other functional modules (e.g., Maintenance, Quality Management, Sales CRM, SRM, Project and Contract Management) is a plus.
