The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Responsibilities- Drive a world‑class safety culture into daily operations
- Lead cross‑functional teams and programs to drive continuous improvement
- Drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through Lean Six Sigma, entitlement thinking, yield improvement, and plant productivity
- Track key metrics in the manufacturing process and communicate to employees and management
- Assure compliance with corporate and governmental safety, health and environmental rules, policies, and procedures
- Accountable to deliver improved results in EHS, Quality, Supply Chain Performance, Cost, and Employee Relations
- Live 3M values through all interactions with the plant population and the community
Company Vehicle:
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting in a private, public, government or military environment
- Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a public, government or military environment
- Current Valid Driver’s license
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Experience in quarry or mining operation
- Demonstrated strong leadership ability
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Ability to develop people and build a culture of trust and cooperation
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work 5 days a week at the 3M Little Rock, AR
Travel:
May include up to 10% domestic
