Lead Person Wastewater Operator
The Lead Person Wastewater Operator will monitor and maintain plating processes and wastewater treatment systems by performing testing, sampling, chemical adjustments, and process evaluations.
Responsibilities- Test, monitor, and record information related to plating processes and wastewater treatment.
- Add or adjust chemicals as needed to maintain proper process conditions.
- Continuously monitor wastewater and adjust pH levels when necessary.
- Help plan daily work activities and ensure materials and equipment are available and working properly.
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and support rework activities when needed.
- Report equipment problems, material defects, wastewater concerns, or other issues that could impact operations.
- Follow all written procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and problem‑solving activities.
- Track production data to support quality, scheduling, and process improvements.
- Train and assist other operators as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Recommend solutions for process, equipment, or production issues.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a State‑approved Wastewater Treatment Course within one year of job acceptance.

To that end, this position has a salary pay rate of $25.09, plus shift differential for off shifts. The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
