Summary ofJob Duties
- Work under direct guidance and supervision of full-time faculty
- Adhere to program policies and procedures
- Adhere to clinical facility policies and procedures
- Be on time for all clinical sessions
- Foster a learning environment that is conducive to meeting learning outcomes
- Choose patient assignments that promote growth in students while adhering to scope of practice
- Use appropriate evaluation and measuring techniques regarding student performance
- Complete student performance evaluations and submit grades in a timely manner
- Consult with full-time faculty when taking corrective action(s) as warranted by unsatisfactory student performance
- Serve as a role model for students, maintaining professionalism inside and outside of the clinical setting
- Demonstrate and encourage high standards of nursing practice
- Remain current with trends in nursing
- Maintain education/clinical competencies in areas of instructional responsibilities
- Hold a current unencumbered PN license to practice in Arkansas
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in the clinical area
- Hold a current unencumbered RN license to practice in Arkansas
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in the clinical area
LPN, RN, & BSN - $35/hour
MSN - $40/hour
