• Being able to greet customers, answering questions, engaging customers with merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service
• Guiding customers to merchandise within the store
• Organizing and maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store floor
• Strong product knowledge
• Contribute to the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs
• Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment if applicable
• Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to support team coordination
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
• Effective phone etiquette for professional remote communication
• Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations during transactions
