** Job Description
**** System Maintenance:
** Perform routine checks on heavy-duty equipment like
** chillers** (large machines that remove heat from water) and
** boilers** (tanks that heat water for steam) to prevent factory shutdowns.
** Troubleshooting:
** Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and
** pneumatic** (air-pressure based) faults on large equipment.
** Refrigerant Management:
** Recover, charge, and handle refrigerants safely according to strict
** EPA regulations**.
** Component Replacement:
** Repair or swap out worn parts like compressors, electric motors, and valves.
** Safety & Compliance:
** Strictly enforce safety rules like
** Lockout/Tagout** (a safety procedure used to ensure that dangerous machines are properly shut off and not started up again) to prevent injuries.
