As a Yard Spotter
, you will be responsible for managing movement of empty and loaded trailers to and from a drop yard or dock, loading, and unloading, coupling/uncoupling, and repositioning trailers to maintain vendors while following all Safety Requirements & DOT Compliance.

- The expected pay for this role is $20.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

- Move empty and loaded trailers on yard and between local plants
- Backing trailers into parking spaces
- Use landing gear to drop trailers
- Open and close swinging trailer doors
- Climb in trailers to identify freight
- Complete yard checks each day to control what is in the yard
- Identify and communicate Safety Hazards
- Inspect and red tag out of service trailers and defective equipment
- Reports vehicle defects immediately to equipment maintenance management
- Loading & Unloading Dunnage as needed
- Washing Equipment
- Warehouse associate responsibilities including loading/unloading trailers, picking/putting away
- Other duties may be assigned
- Class A CDL with experience operating manual transmission
- Must be able to open, manipulate and secure trailer doors
- Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, and kneel
- Must be detail oriented and mathematically inclined
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of coupling and uncoupling of tractor trailer equipment
