Job Duties:- Runs daily trash collection routes as designated by department head
- Must be able to work odd shifts and Saturdays. Hours may be from 1:00 AM till the route is complete
- Keep up with maintenance & cleaning of truck
- Responsible for designated routes
- Other jobs as directed by the department head
Experience:
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER LICENSE
- Obtain a Class A CDL WITH Combination and Airbrake endorsement within 90 days of employment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Live within 30 Minute drive of Batesville
- Be able to safely and skillfully operate City equipment
- Have the ability to follow oral & written instructions
- Awareness of all safety standards when operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of traffic ordinances governing the use of vehicles and ability to obtain proper license
