Van Driver

Position: Van Driver Hourly
Diversicare -  - Responsibilities:
Assure the safety of each resident when transporting to and from the doctors office and/or hospital.;
Accompany each resident on all medical visits. Stay with resident(s) until visit is complete.;
Observe the following guidelines at each visit:
Sign in resident upon entrance;
Present residents documents to office personnel.;
Before leaving doctors office, obtain residents documents;
Obtain any new prescriptions;
Check to make sure doctor has written on the doctors order form.;
After returning to facility, report to RCM and be prepared to answer questions concerning visit.
