Job Description Summary
Administrative Assistant for the Batesville Composite Operations Site responsible for maintaining a smooth plant operation. The role involves administrative support to the Site Leadership Team, Site HR Leader and production floor with limited supervision.
Responsibilities- Provide direct administrative support and assist with assigned tasks for the Site Leadership Team and Site HR Leader
- Support daily administrative needs for the site, coordination across leadership, HR, and production teams
- Assist in purchasing supplies and materials for Production Leadership, HR, and other site functions
- Complete SSS ordering for Production Leadership and site support needs
- Coordinate scheduling, setup, and maintenance of conference rooms and shared meeting spaces
- Maintain and update site email distribution lists and support internal communications
- Manage vendor relationships and communications, including uniforms, safety shoes, and on‑site vending services
- Assist with site visitors, including scheduling, coordination, and badging
- Support planning and execution of site events, including catering, room scheduling, employee events, and event preparation
- Assist in preparing for and supporting site meetings, including all‑hands meetings, celebrations, employee engagement activities, and leadership meetings
- Create production packets and labels for the production floor
- Track orders, troubleshoot issues, and elevate concerns as needed
- Support site engagement activities, fundraising, donation collection, and submissions
- Assist the Site HR Leader with administrative HR tasks such as:
- Scheduling interviews and candidate onsite visits
- Coordinating new hire onboarding logistics
- Supporting employee communication distribution
- Assisting with meeting coordination for employee relations, training, and HR programs
- Maintaining HR‑related trackers, files, and documentation as appropriate
- Supporting recognition events, engagement initiatives, and other employee‑focused activities
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
- 3 years of administrative support experience
- HR administrative support experience
- Ability to perform basic functions with Microsoft Office products, including navigating to files, data input, presentation creation
- Team player
- Detail oriented; ability to multitask and prioritize
- High integrity
- Financial awareness
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understand all policies, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work with all levels of employee (senior staff, salaried support and hourly)
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Strong team player and desire for hands‑on approach to troubleshooting
