WhatYou Will Be Doing:
The Certified Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating boom crane to life, move and position heavy materials, equipment and machinery.
Primary Responsibilities:- Operate boom cranes to lift, transport and position materials or equipment, following precise lift plans and site conditions.
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment before and after each use, ensuring it is safe and in optimal condition.
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel to coordinate safe and efficient load movements.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including load charts, rigging procedures and OSHA standards.
- Document operation and maintenance activities, keeping accurate records of carne usage and incidents.
- Assist in training new operators on safe and efficient crane operation techniques.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on crane components.
- Adhere to company polices and industry best practices for workplace safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
To be successful in this position you should be a skilled professional responsible for safely operating boom cranes.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
- Valid crane operator certification and any required state or company license.
- Two to five years’ operating boom cranes in construction, manufacturing or logistics
Required Qualifications /
Skills:
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in crane operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, load charts and technical documents.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with ground crew and supervisors
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills to handle complex lifting scenarios.
