We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Bailbrook House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Bailbrook House Hotel is located above the historic city of Bath, surrounded by 20 acres of private grounds.

About the Role
  • Reporting into the Food & Beverage Manager, oversee the entire Food & Beverage operation and ensure high standards of service are consistently delivered.
  • Manage, support and guide a vibrant and diverse team to create magical memories for guests.
  • Act as the ultimate hospitality professional, inspiring and motivating team members to provide outstanding service.
  • Manage the department’s payroll budget and other operating costs to achieve targeted profit contributions.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, stamina and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team.
About you
  • Previous Food & Beverage management experience within a multi‑outlet 4/5 Star luxury hotel, including conference and banqueting, is required.
  • Experience in managing large‑scale conferences, banqueting events and weddings.
  • Excellent knowledge of wine and confidence in offering wine pairings.
  • Proven experience managing, coaching and developing teams, enjoying motivating others to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service.
  • Excellent at building rapport with colleagues and guests.
  • Professional, organised and friendly approach, able to anticipate guests’ needs and create memories.
