We are currently recruiting for a Night Receptionist to join our Truly Talented team. Reporting to the Night Manager, this is a role for a talented individual who wants a new challenge in a fast‑paced, busy and hardworking team environment.

Your role

As a Night Receptionist, you will provide courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain the highest standards of service during the night. You will greet guests warmly, act as a true ambassador for excellent service, and handle all requests and queries efficiently and professionally, whether face‑to‑face or over the telephone. You’ll work in a busy, hardworking team, continually learning and developing.

Responsibilities
  • Be totally guest focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach
  • Gain experience in all sections of the front desk department and ensure company and legal requirements are maintained
  • Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments in setting up for the next day
  • Continuously improve the quality of the hotel’s services
  • Undertake night audits and hotel safety checks to ensure everyone in the hotel is safe and looked after
  • Handle guest relations confidently, recognizing all guests, including those requiring special attention
  • Promote the company values and behaviours at all times
  • Be enthusiastic about change, focused on detail, and trustworthy
Core skills and experience required to succeed
  • Truly passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to understand guests’ needs to create exceptional service experiences that create lasting memories
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working during the night time
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach
