REED Business Support in Bath is working closely with a business in Bath who has a stunning location. They are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor. Permanent £13.80 per hour  Benefits (discounted / free meals whilst on duty, free on-site parking, full training and ongoing support) Hours are negotiable and worked on a rota basis. Shifts will include weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Operating hours range between 08:30 and 23:00 . This role plays a key part in their hospitality operation. Reporting to the Bar Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of both the bar and kitchen while ensuring their members receive a consistently high standard of food, drink and customer service. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading by example, and motivating others to deliver exceptional service.

Full training will be provided; however, previous hospitality experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for members and visitors. Support the daily operation of the bar and kitchen areas. Assist in the preparation and presentation of food products. Supervise team members and provide guidance, training and support to new staff. Motivate and encourage colleagues to maintain high service standards. Complete daily opening and closing procedures.

Carry out routine checks, cleaning schedules and health & safety requirements. Act as a keyholder, responsible for opening and securing the club premises. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the EPOS system. Resolve day-to-day operational issues effectively and professionally. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, licensing and company procedures. Skills & Experience Previous experience within hospitality, food & beverage or a customer-facing environment.

Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication and organisational abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Team leadership skills with the ability to motivate others. Good numeracy and cash-handling experience. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. Willingness to learn and develop within the role. Ideally full driving license
