We're looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join a beautiful country house Hotel in Bath, just a short distance from the city centre. With 70-plus bedrooms, elegant lounges and a stylish restaurant, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role within a welcoming hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As Head Housekeeper, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day Housekeeping operation, ensuring guests enjoy consistently high standards throughout their stay.

Manage daily cleaning operations and inspect rooms to ensure excellent standards
Monitor brand standards and standard operating procedures
Lead, motivate and develop the Housekeeping team
Ensure training and competency records are fully completed
Support with servicing bedrooms when required
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest experience
Provide flexible support across the operation, including occasional weekends

What we're looking for:

You'll need previous supervisory or management experience within a Hotel Housekeeping environment, together with a practical, hands-on approach.

Previous Hotel housekeeping supervisory or management experience is essential
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
Immediately available, with no prior commitments, notice period or planned holidays
Able to commit for 2-3 months initially
Flexible and willing to support the team where needed
