We're looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join a beautiful country house Hotel in Bath, just a short distance from the city centre. With 70-plus bedrooms, elegant lounges and a stylish restaurant, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands‑on leadership role within a welcoming hospitality environment.

Because you'll enjoy:

• From £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay - paid every Friday
• Hourly rate - get paid for every hour you work
• Live-in accommodation available
• 40 hours per week
• A role initially offered for 2-3 months, with potential to become permanent for the right person
• Generally Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend flexibility required

As Head Housekeeper, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day Housekeeping operation, ensuring guests enjoy consistently high standards throughout their stay.

• Manage daily cleaning operations and inspect rooms to ensure excellent standards
• Monitor brand standards and standard operating procedures
• Lead, motivate and develop the Housekeeping team
• Ensure training and competency records are fully completed
• Support with servicing bedrooms when required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest experience
• Provide flexible support across the operation, including occasional weekends

You’ll need previous supervisory or management experience within a Hotel Housekeeping environment, together with a practical, hands‑on approach.

• Previous Hotel housekeeping supervisory or management experience is essential
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can‑do attitude
• Immediately available, with no prior commitments, notice period or planned holidays
• Able to commit for 2-3 months initially
• Flexible and willing to support the team where needed
