Your RoleAs a vital member of our Bath technical team, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing
, complex mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance to high technical standards. - Perform MOT inspections (if qualified) in strict accordance with DVSA guidelines.
- Utilize modern diagnostic software and equipment to systematically fault-find and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain precise digital job records and deliver safe, clean "first-time fix" results.
- Work effectively as a team player
, managing your own workflow smoothly under minimal supervision.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a busy workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it). - Licensing: Full UK driving licence is required.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools. Self-motivated, organized, and enthusiastic about modern automotive engineering.
Based in Bath, our facility is ideally located for a fast, straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Bristol, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Keynsham, Radstock, and surrounding Somerset and Wiltshire areas.
