Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your technical experience and skill level, plus performance bonus scheme)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (100% WEEKEND FREEDOM with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)

Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, friendly workshop team in Bath. As part of our expanding franchised group, you will carry out routine servicing, complex mechanical repairs, diagnostic fault-finding using modern equipment, and MOT testing (if qualified) across customer vehicles to high industry standards.
Requirements- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with 1-2 years minimum hands-on workshop experience
- Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
- Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Base: Bath (Free secure on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Strategic position directly served by key arterial routes including the A36, A4, and A46, offering fast commutes across Somerset and Wiltshire
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Bath Spa mainline railway station alongside regular regional bus services
