Bath Tech Exploratory Instructor at Boothbay Region High School

RSU 1 is seeking a full-time Exploratory Instructor at Boothbay Region High School as part of the Bath Tech program, beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

The CTE Exploratory Instructor introduces students in grades 9–12 to foundational concepts and hands‑on experiences in the skilled trades. Instruction may include welding, carpentry, basic electricity, design, and automotive technology.

This position emphasizes career exploration, safety, and skill awareness, helping students understand career and training pathways while developing practical, transferable skills. The instructor will create an engaging, supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, teamwork, and informed career decision‑making.

• Possess, or be eligible for, CTE Instructor endorsement, or 700 industrial arts/technology education teacher certification
• Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
