Job Summary

The Registrar plays a vital role in supporting the academic experience of our students. This position is responsible for student registration and transfers, maintaining accurate academic records, and providing key administrative support to the Academic Team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicates effectively with students, families, and faculty.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of student class schedules and course selections
  • Manage student data within the Blackbaud Learning Management System, including maintaining accurate student profiles and attendance records, opening and closing grade plans each grading period, and supporting faculty with grade input, scheduling, and system troubleshooting
  • Assist in building and maintaining the school’s master schedule for students and faculty
  • Provide guidance to students on graduation requirements and academic progress
  • Maintain, safeguard, and ensure the accuracy of student academic records, including transcripts, report cards, and cumulative files
  • Process requests for transcripts and academic records for current and former students
  • Ensure compliance with all privacy regulations, including FERPA
  • Prepare and distribute enrollment and academic verification documents for international students
  • Prepare and submit reports to school leadership and state education agencies
  • Partner with faculty to ensure timely and accurate grading and reporting
  • Serve as a key point of contact for sending and receiving information from school districts
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, faculty, and administrators
  • Participate in school events such as orientation and registration days
  • Assist in planning and executing the Baccalaureate and end-of-year commencement ceremony
  • Coordinate ordering and distribution of textbooks and classroom resources
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships across the school community
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Experience in a registrar role or educational setting preferred
