Dike-Newell School – Special Education – Student Support Program – Educational Technician II
RSU 1 seeks a full-time Special Education Ed Tech II candidate to work at Dike-Newell School in the Student Support Program beginning with the school year. The ideal candidate for this position will be a flexible, organized, kind, and compassionate team player, and will be able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with ABA programming, trauma‑sensitive care, and behavior management practices is preferred.
Prior successful experience working with elementary public school special education students is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with supervising teacher and colleagues
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with students despite challenging behaviors
- Ability to collect data in various formats
- Current Educational Technician II Certification
- Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
