Job Overview
RSU 1 invites applications for a full‑time Special Education Educational Technician II to work at Fisher‑Mitchell School in the Elementary Autism/Developmental Delay Program (Grades 3‑5). The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, kind, compassionate, and can thrive in a fast‑paced environment with elementary public school special education students.
Familiarity with ABA programming, trauma‑sensitive care, and behavior management practices is preferred.
Qualifications- Ability to collaborate with a board certified behavior analyst, supervising teacher, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with students despite challenging behaviors
- Ability to collect data in various formats
- Current Educational Technician II Certification
- Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
