Supervisory Oversight of Planning Yard Division

Responsibilities Include:

Providing supervisory oversight of the Planning Yard division of SUPSHIP BATH.

Coordinating requirements between all internal and external customers as well as with the contractor's Planning Yard and Post-delivery government organizations.

Contributing to a team-oriented environment and demonstrating ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships.

Resolving problems, initiating inquiries into issues, determining the source of funds, what alternatives may be available and providing sound recommendations for work around strategies.

Managing and supervising SUPSHIP personnel assigned to the Planning Yard team and providing task management of supporting contractor personnel.

Managing leave, overtime and compensatory time use for subordinate employees.

Determining and assigning priorities and setting goals for work within the project team based on overall program requirements.

Establishing work standards, plans tasks, developing and publishing schedules and when necessary, recommending alternative approaches to resolving technical or workload problems.

Developing and monitoring performance indicators and other metrics appropriate to an objective assessment of the team's work in each key area.

Providing coverage for all duties normally accomplished by the Deputy Project Manager during that person's absence as designated by the Director or Deputy.
