This full-time role is based out of Blackburn and is suitable for experienced Vulcanise rs as well as Trainee or New Start candidates. Day-to-day tasks typically include assisting with the preparation, repair, and installation of conveyor belts or similar industrial components, including cutting, joining, and vulcanising materials. The role involves using hand tools, machinery, and vulcanising equipment, following technical instructions, and adhering to strict safety procedures.

Team members may help with loading and unloading materials, maintaining a clean and organized workshop, and supporting more experienced colleagues on customer sites when required. Training and supervision will be provided, with progression opportunities for individuals who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to perform practical, hands-on work safely, including the use of hand tools and basic machinery.
• Willingness to learn vulcanising techniques and follow technical instructions with attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and working on-site in industrial environments.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to read measurements, work orders, and safety information accurately.
• Strong reliability, timekeeping, and commitment to working full-time on-site in Blackburn depot and nationwide.
• Ability to work as part of a team, communicate clearly, and follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Full, valid driving licence is beneficial, especially for travel to customer sites.
• Previous experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or a similar trade is an advantage but not essential for trainee or new start applicants.
