Staff Accountant

(Baton Rouge, Louisiana):
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budget tracking
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
• Ability to communicate effectively in an office environment
