Responsibilities
- Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with management of accounting staff and department.
- Handle ad hoc email/phone call requests.
- Approve Concur expense reports.
- Improve processes as time permits.
- Prepare reconciliations on multiple general ledger accounts.
- Maintain prepaid accounts.
- Assist with job costing.
- Calculate and pay commissions.
- Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with audits performed by our third-party CPAs and other regulatory agencies, such as the Departments of Revenue and Labor.
- Filing business occupation licenses forms as well as payment of invoices.
- Filing business personal property tax returns as well as payment of invoices.
- Assist in occasional financial projects as needed.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail.
- PC proficient; familiar with MS Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
